The business was established by Anand Bhalsod in 2012 and over the past few years, the small business that started with two dhol players has expanded into a talented team of 15 and continues to grow! The team have travelled to weddings, receptions and parties all over the UK and Europe performing for brides, grooms, political figures and religious leaders.
From the distinct drumming of the dhols, the soulful sound of the saxophones and the tantalising tones of the trumpet, the Dhol Players & Band Baja team aim to leave all their clients with a memorable experience!
Anand Bhalsod, a keen tabla player wanting to share his knowledge, teaches tabla in the Delhi and Punjab gharana. Having an intense interest in this classical instrument, Anand accompanies other accomplished artists for background wedding music, bhajans and qawali programmes all over the UK.
